Graphic design played such an important role in society. Graphic design plays a key role in communicating the subject’s importance in a very meaningful way through color, typography, imagery, and layout. The article, “What Role Does Design Play in a Public Health Crisis” by Lucienne Roberts, explained the positive impact graphic design has on public health in terms of life and death. It motivates and inspires people to maintain the safety of themselves and others by changing their thinking and actions. The purpose of this poster is to show how far we have come through the course of this pandemic to the point where masks are not required anymore. Although, our fight against COVID-19 isn’t over yet. People need to understand the importance of continuing to take the necessary precautions in order to overcome this virus. We have to keep playing our part for the good of everyone. This poster shows that in order to stop this virus people need to continue doing their part. For example, people should get vaccinated, maintain social distance, wash their hands often, use hand sanitizer, avoid touching their faces, and test to prevent spreading the virus to others.
